Harsimran (Sim) holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Orthopedics and has been practicing for more than 12 years. Sim has experience of working with clients with different age groups, treating Orthopaedic injuries, MVA related injuries, workplace injuries, arthritis management, and vestibular disorders. She is certified in Advanced level of functional dry needling (IMS) from Kinetacore based in the US. She is also certified in functional therapeutics for advanced exercise prescription based on client needs, tendon injuries management, advanced level of vestibular rehabilitation, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. In order to help her clients with Arthritis and pre and post-surgical Management in a more efficient manner, she has completed the Arthritis Continuing Education Program from Mary Pack Arthritis Institute at Vancouver General Hospital. Sim’s treatment approach is based on correcting the movement dysfunction, alleviating pain, preventing re-injury, and helping the client return to pre-injury functional status. Her treatment includes a detailed assessment and setting the treatment goals with the client and she works on achieving those goals by using various Manual Therapy Skills, IMS, modalities, and exercise prescription.
Adam Dadson completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in 2017 and continued on to graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy's program in April of 2019. At WCCMT, he acquired over 560 hours of practicum experience working with a variety of general and specific clinical conditions. Adam has had the opportunity to work with UBC's varsity teams, GF Strong patients, people with neurological & physiological pathologies, as well as general aches & pains. His practical skills continued to grow through an internship program at Legacies Health Center over the past year. These experiences have taught Adam the most important thing for him to provide for his patients, and that is a strong foundational knowledge that empowers them to achieve their personal goals. Adam is eager to continue to learn and grow in the profession he is so passionate about by working with the Think Physiotherapy team and patients!
Amneet Virk graduated in Bachelors of Physiotherapy from
Baba Farid University in Punjab, India. After completing her
entry level Physiotherapy degree in 2012, Amneet immigrated to
Canada in the year 2013. In the following couple of years she
has completed all the credentialing and other academic
requirements from University of Toronto and University of
British Columbia to eventually gain her Registered Interim
Physiotherapist status in the year 2016.
In her initial years before starting her licensed practice in the
field of Physiotherapy, Amneet has worked in different
physiotherapy clinics in Surrey BC as a Rehab Assistant. She
has completed her Physiotherapy Competency Examination in
2018 and currently holds a Fully Registered Physiotherapist
status with the College of Physical Therapists of British
Amneet is multilingual, fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi and has experience working with patients of various cultural backgrounds. Her areas of expertise include Orthopedics and Neurology, treatment approach consists of manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy. Besides her professional self, Amneet is a caring mom and wife, most of her free time is spent with her family. Her hobbies include travelling, cooking, and socializing with nears and dears.
Sunny has over 10 years of experience in Active Rehab for soft tissue, orthopaedic, and mental health. Sunny’s passion for injury rehab stems from his personal experience with injuries in Tae Kwon Do and powerlifting, which brought the necessity of understanding movement to the forefront. These personal experiences also helped develop the empathy and compassion required to understand the patient beyond the superficial level which leads him to achieve better long term results.
